Hi All,

Other then doing "price checks" on the Kubota thread, are there any Kubota dealers that show pricing on their website? Even if it is list price that would be very helpful to know "how much" tractor I can afford.

Much better way to start then to walk into my local dealer and ask him what 25k will get me.

(I saw an old thread that listed Aldermans.com, but when I go there the pricing is not available).

I really would like a L4400 or one of the Grand L series. Just would like to be able to price them out.

Thanks in advance!

Try this site. It's from the state of Minnesota. The Kubota price books are from January 2006 but they will give you an idea of MSRP for the tractors and all available options.

I just looked on the Alderman's site, and the MSRP is still listed:
http://www.aldermans.com/Kubota/kubota_Lpricing.html

edit: I see that the L4400 pricing is not there, but at least the Grand L's are.

Add it all up and see if you can get 15% off at one of your local dealers. 10% off would still be a good deal in most areas.

Carver Equipment often lists sale prices on various Kubotas.

Looks like the "L4330HST-F, 43 HP, 4X4" might make the budget.

Embarrased to ask, but if I wanted to add rear hydraulics to be able to push down on a Gannon box (other then gravity), would I just have (1) remote valve added? (I'm guessing the 2nd and 3rd would be for backhoe?)
Also, is the "top-n-tilt" hydraulics used to auto tilt the Gannon box without having to manually change the angle? Does it take up a 2nd rear remote valve?

Thanks again!!

A remote valve by itself will not allow you to push down on an implement. That is a function of the 3pt which does not have hydraulic down pressure as it uses gravity to force the implement down. Implements like several models of post hole diggers, may have a hydraulic cylinder that does the push down. These require a remote. The Gannon box scraper does not have this feature.

A rear remote in conjunction with a hydraulic top link will allow you to change the angle of attack of the box scraper. In other words you will be able to angle the box forward or backwards so that you will dig more rather than scrape.

A second remote connected to a tilt cylinder will alow you to angle the box scraper side to side to create profiles on say a ditch.

I don't recommend the Kubota top and tilt option. Many people here have complained that the cylinders leak down rather significantly. Go with an outside source and get double pilot operated check valves on at least the top link cylinder.

I recommend that you purchase at least 2 rear remotes and a third if you have the extra $450 or so. The additional labor to install all 3 at the same time is negligible. To install it later will be several hours of labor.

Search around TBN and you will find many threads talking about top and tilt and rear remotes for Grand L Kubota's.
