Jim98:
I am not quite sure what you mean by "plow drifts down when I lower it". So if you will explain just a little bit more might be able to help solve the problem. If you are saying with the blade is up with the motor off and it lowers itself over time that is kinda normal. If what you are asking if it drifts down while the motor is running then I beleive your lift cyl. is defective and fluid is passing thru the cylinder.

It only happens when engine is running and when I lower the blade and let off the lever the blade slowly goes completely down , I think it may be that my hydraulic valve is bad not sure . I'm going to replace it with one with 3 levers

Could the problem not be leaky seals in the 3pt cyl?

A couple of seals will cost less than a valve.

You need a good cyl to test the valve.

If you raise the 3pt and shut the engine off, how long does it take for the 3pt to drop to the floor?

it's not the three point it's the power angle snow plow

With the blade in the air, can you unplug your hoses? :confused3: If you can do that and the blade stays in place, then you know that it is the valve. If it leaks down at an unacceptable rate, then it is the cylinder seals, could still be the valve also, but you know for sure if the cylinder is leaking or not. ;)

Is the inside lever all the way forward? If it is that is the "float" mode. And it should go all the way down when you stop holding it. Now if the inside lever goes do when you just push it a little way when you let go of the lever it should stay and not drop. Might check to see if by chance you are pushing it to far forward....................KJD
