I picked this up for $1000 today out of a local website. Previous owner said he barely used it, been kept in the barn for most of its life. Was thinking of hauling my ck 35 with it but, unless I get brakes it probably would t be a good idea. Overall in looks like its well preserved, newer tires with a spare, good paint, very little rust on the underside.
I suprised I can't find info on this site when dieing a search.

That's correct, 2, 3500k axles. Ramps are stored behind the rear axle on drivers side.

Looks to be an older Doolittle, but it good shape. Doolittle's are made about 45 minutes away from me here in central MO. I think you did OK, and if you treat it well, it will last you a long time. But I would definitely add brakes to haul your tractor on it. I never understood why a trailer rated to 7k lbs wouldn't come with brakes.

Seriously? I don't see any new 16 foot landscape trailers for less than $1800 up here. That's with one axle brake and a cheesy tailgate ramp.

A new one like that (Doolittle) here is $1600 with one brake axle and a tailgate ramp. The stowable ramps add to that, but not having brakes, take off $150. So, one just like above is in the $1500 range. I know, I just priced one last week. All in all, he got a decent deal. The thing about utility trailers, is that if you take care of them, you will get your money back. I bought a 12' single-axle utility trailer 8 years ago for $775. When speaking to the dealer on the new 16' last week, he suggested selling mine for $900.

With no brakes I'd leave it set, because you will keep putting off adding them.
