Any ideas for uses of mobile home springs

before I recycle them. I have accumulated 10 of them over the years and would like to re-purpose them if I could. Any ideas?

I've only got two and have been thinking the same way.

Long "handled" tractor mounted brush rake or boulder dragger (two, cut in half would make a heavy duty 4-tooth "rake")

Grapple teeth

Bucket tusks

Bucket load rollback preventers

Tractor mounted crossbow

What else?

Find a blacksmith, he or she would love to get them, spring steel is good for tools, knives, axes, ect. wish you lived closer. I have a small blacksmith shop that I set up in my back yard.

Ed is right, they make great tools, log peelers, spoke shave etc...

Thanks for the replies. I did ask one hobby blacksmith but he wasn't interested, and I already have a log peeler. Maybe I'll hold on to them.
