No snow here in south central Kentucky, just some much needed rain. However, I may just have to ask my stepson to return the aluminum snowshoes that I gave him when he was living in upstate New York. I need them to wade through the barnyard mud.

Early x-Mas present.
I'd go out and make a few snow angels, throw some snowballs at any neighbor I had an issue with, and of course, like Egon said, thaw the dog out.

One more post on this white stuff - - with a full moon last night reflecting off the snow, it was as bright or brighter than I ever remember it. It took me a while & a couple of repetitions for me to figure out what that 'whoommp' noise was I have been hearing. It's just the snow deciding it doesn't want to be on the roof anymore. This may have just been a dusting for some of you guys who live up on the tundra, but the 6.5" is the most I've ever seen. This is my 16th winter in the country and it's the 1st time there has been any accumulation to speak of.
I'll be glad to get my electricity back on - - my generator is doing OK, but probably needs a gatoraide.

Sure is beautiful under a full moon. I stepped outside the other night and was dead quiet as I listened to an owl maybe 500 yds away just as clear as a bell. Snow makes the woods quiet and on a cold clear quiet night you can hear a timber wolf ten miles away.
