With shipping and all it was $10,400 for the pretty well loaded worksite model.

You folks in the midwest and south have got more dealer competition than us in New England. Not as many dealers so discounting on the Kubota RTV Worksite was only about $100 here in MA. At least that's the best I could get.

I had priced out a HPX 4x4 with a plow, hard cab, heater, etc. and was given a discounted price of $15,400. I also received a bid from a New Hampshire dealer hoping to avoid the $750 MA sales tax but their price was $16,400 and I would have had to trailer it myself.

I was all set to put a deposit down on the Gator when the night before I was going to go the the JD dealer I stumbled upon this web site and decided to get a bid from the local Kubota dealer. Equipped with about the same accessories the RTV900 was $100 less than the Gator. Consider the fact that the Kubota has the HST, diesel engine, power steering and it was no contest.

I had also received a Kawasaki bid for a 4x4 3010 gas mule with the same options that came in around $15,000.

I must say that the HPX has the coolest cab - almost like a glass bubble - I don't think that it was made by Curtis. The HPX also gave you the option of a "V" plow.
