Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Any Erie PA folks want to share?

I've always lived in the south, and large snows are completely foreign to me. Sometimes I wonder why those snowy areas are even inhabited in the winter.

Funny;we say the same thing about the South;hurricanes,bugs,snakes ,gators,100F temps with 100% humidity.
It is all in what you are "used" to.I like the four seasons myself,don't ice fish or snowmobile but still like the winters.
