Actually I wish it would stall if placed in gear with the parking brake engaged..The Cub Volunteers do that. A little annoying at first, but you get used to it.

My RTV1140 has a light on the dash that is lite when parking brake on but I'd like more. I had a load of dirt on it the other day and thought how bad it was bogging it down under heavy load then released the hand brake and it took off.

It is the same type circut that is on your lawnmower that shuts down the engine when you get out of the seat with the engine running. Just copy that. Ken Sweet

With so many makes models such a guide would be impossible other than to state:
-wire to a fused battery +,
-locate switch and indicator at convenient locations,
- be sure the other end is well grounded.

When my now, 9 yr old Grandaughter was in the first grade. she wired up that exact circut. I just put the parts in front of her. Ken Sweet
