any advice on a john Deere 2400?

Hi, we have found a john deere 2400 were thinking of purchasing and was wondering if anyone might have had any experience on them?
From what little information we could find on google, it looks like they were made by zetor, with a zetor diesel engine?

You are correct, made by Zetor, with Zetor turbo diesel, 78HP. Made 1993-98 in the Czech Republic.
I would ask at my local dealer their thoughts. Mine would be to pass.

Not bad tractors, check brakes and clutch function and electric equipment. Parts are very cheap but maybe not so much if it is printed John Deere on the box.

Thanks for the response's. There is very little info on these tractors out there. guy is not responding to me either way, but good to here some advice on them. Sounds like it might have been in my favor that he didnt respond. We live pretty far out, and this is orange country as far as dealer support.
