If so how do like your tractor as I can't make up my mind on a 4520 or the 5225.I would want the 12/12 power reverser trans. on which ever one I choose.I did notice the 5225 does have a creeper gear opt. . I will be using a rear mounted snow blower and we get some heavy snow where I live.Anyone use a rear mounted blower on either one of these tractors your comments would be greatly appreciated also.
Thanks

I just saw your post with no responses. I own a 4720 and a 5525 cab. The HST is very nice, but the power reverser is not bad. I use the 5525 for mowing pastures and eventually haying. It has been a number of months, did you make a decision?

I have a 5225 that I bought new in April 07. I love this tractor. 12/12 pwr reverser, isolated operator station, 4x4, FEL. This is a very stong tractor for only having 56 HP. Unless you attach a bat wing shredder you probably don't need the added HP of the 5325 ,5425 or the 5525. The FEL will only lift what it's rated to lift. 4x4 is like adding 2x the HP. Any of the 25 series tractors will pretty much all do the same amount of work. When I ordered mine I ordered the largest tires available, the larger the tires the smoother the ride. Great tractor!

That is one good looking tractor. I suspect your 5225 would a batwing just fine except maybe in the worst of conditions.

I just bought a 5325 and have not had the opportunity to work it, but at this point am thinking that this is going to be a really strong utility tractor.

I have a 4x2 cab 5225 and its done everything I have asked of it. 4wd is not something I need around here, the added weight of the cab makes the 2wd perform pretty good.

Old posts... but, it's always good to hear about some of the "bigger" tractors (and look at the pics) that Deere builds.

I bought a used 5225-with-542 loader 3 weeks ago. Use it for mowing fields and trails, grading my road, and dragging logs. My first 4WD tractor and a nice upgrade from my old IH 2400. So far, so good.

I have one of these tractors I bought one back in 2007 or 2008. Their a bit loud even with the cab probably due to the 5 cylinder engine. My 5225's main job is to spray crops with a 150 Gallon sprayer. It has 230/95/R48's and 230/95R32's I believe. I really like this tractor it can probably handle a 350+ gallon trailed sprayer no problem.

I have the 9/3 SyncShuttle on it. I have some mirrors on it that are pretty sick.
