I looked the price and it wasn't a killer so I bought a anti-scalp wheel for my RM-360. About $60 if I recall with shipping. I've only used it once before the freezes came. So no mowing for a while. There is no adjustment on the wheel, pretty easy to install. Also if you have an older RM360 this is an upgraded wheel. I think the guy said it has sealed bearings. The old one he thought was just a bushing. But in the interest of sharing some pics...here it is.. :)

So if those keep it from scalping, what are the other caster wheels for? This is a different mower that the one in the avatar, right? Nice job though. Put a row of those all the way across the front, and it will smooth out the fireant mounds before you run over them:rolleyes:

Correct, the mower in my avatar is a 4' BH. The FM is a Woods. Here's a pic of the beater (but it works great). Funny you should mention the mounds. I had an area nead the road...sort of hump that always caught the middle blade on the woods. So I turned off the blade and ran the mower over it a couple times. This FM is 525# and will move some dirt. I eventually did it for real with my BB. :D Time for new blades anyway on the FM.

It does get a little cold in deep east Texas. This picture was taken Sunday, That ain't lack of water. :D What little green there is is some rye I tossed out. The Bermuda is long gone.
