so i JUST mounted the mower deck last month, checked it over, greased it up, servced etc.

then while walking the yard yesterday for the first time in weeks due to the great day and a bit of extra time, but what do i find laying off in the brush... but a big round hard black "wheel" odd i say, looks a lot like what the deck uses for an anti-scalp wheel. so i pick it up and carry it along as we finish the stroll....

the mower blades were not kind to it btw... i get back to the barn and check and shure enough ITS MY anti-scalp roller

so now i have to track down a new bolt for it and put'r back on...

Sounds like something wasn’t tight enough. Sorry to hear it fell off. Hopefully the blades did get nicked too badly.

Man didn't you hear them go through the blades? They had to make some noise?
