Another workshop layout critique

Most of the equipment won't hug the walls when in use. It makes handling long pieces very difficult. So use of camlock rollers for some of your tools comes to mind, like the bandsaw, so you can pull them out for ripping, etc.

Also, if you choose a uniform height for your tools, something comfortable for your height, you can use one tool as an outfeed/infeed table for others. I use my Unisaw as an outfeed for my bandsaw, planer and jointer. It really saves space.

Lastly, have you thought about dust collection? Not just to keep things clean and reduce hazards, but some woods are irritants (the walnut family gives me horrible sinus infections if I don't use DC) and others are outright toxic. For my shop I originally planned to use a centrally located cyclone with runs to each station, but since most of my machines are mobile in the end I found a mobile 1200cfm DC with flex hose able to meet my needs.

Whatever you decide, it looks like you put a lot of thought into the design which is half the fun. Have a blast!
