Another WHAT"S THIS?

I found this cleaning out my old barn today but I'm not sure what it is. I'm sure one of you will know.

IT looks to me like a blade for brush cutting. How big a diameter? Perhaps it's an early drum mower blade.

Maybe a spinner plate for a fertilizer spreader truck. Judging from small bolt hole and pattern I dont think its heavy enough to be a cutter of any kind.

Or possibly a chaff spreader plate off of a combine.

It's about 24 inches wide and made of metal about 1/16" thick.

If you are in a treed area I'd say it could be the wheel off a tree seedling planter. Just a guess but I have seen similar and that's what they were and used for planting and spacing small seedlings.

The holes around the circumference look like rivet holes for more "blades" to be added. Could it have something to do with sprigging rice?

It almost looks like a disc from a corn planter or some such.

What do the 2 tags rivited on it say - some numbers or letters or a name?
