Another use? or most expensive jack

Richard, I was really into photography for decades but always with SLR bodies. Then when we got some digital cameras (not SLR) I had to learn that just because you can see through the viewfinder doesn't mean the lens cap is not still in place! So you see, if only I took the lens cap off I could get a picture of my finger too. Of course the view through the view finder is not the same as through the taking lens so it is easy to get the strap, your finger, or whatever in the way and not see it in the optical viewfinder even though it would show on the LCD screen if you could see to use it in bright light.

My PSD F-250 short bed crew is pretty light in the britches. When I load my little 40HP Kubota cab tractor (L4610HSTC) the Ford nearly goes airborne, not nearly as stable as my 1 ton dually Dodge with service body. I'm thinking I will put some sort of swiveling prop at the rear of the trailer to deploy when loading and unloading to keep the back of the trailer from "kneeling down."

I really like your "jack". I use the FEL when people who aren't used to driving my gooseneck trailer get too close to trees. I pick the back end up and move it over so they don't rip off a fender.

I gotta spoil the moment for you here too. A block of wood would have done the job too. Put it under one titre and pull forward/backward. This will lift the other tire off the ground.

Kennith, your right a block of wood would have worked great and I use one on my horse trailer, "but" didn't have one and nothing in the immediate area would work.

That's when yuo don't unload... that is.. if it's not safe.. you don't just do it anyway..... or if you do.. expect the results.. like the traielr lifting the rear of the truck.. etc.
