Got the frame set and clamped together. The colored angle is from old bed rails. Extra when we original cut the bed rails to make a truck tailgate

Just got alot more done for welding done. Finally tried my turn at welding. Spent about 2hrs on the shop welding and grinding.

Had to redo the curl mounts. I tried to use the old mounts on the plow but couldn't get the curl needed for lifting the plow more then 1ft let alone stacking 5ft. So made it the traditional way

And used some bed angle for supports (baby blue ) and decided why not make some casters incase. Got one bolted on and other ready to. Just need to build a latch system. Any ideas? ?

Tell me about it. Had alot better luck when I got the welder fined tuned. I have learned alot from my watching my father so that's how I know to do alot of this

What amp and wire speed are you running? It looks like your wire feed might be too fast for your amperage.

On our Lincoln it was running 16 amp and wire was around 275. I at one point kicked it up to 300 which helped some but then dropped it to 250 which worked best. I try not to adjust it much just cause its used alot for our sheet metal shop

I am not familiar with the settings on your Lincoln. What does the door chart say? My charts says for 1/4 steel using .30 wire to run medium2 and wire speed 5.5. I find medium2 to be too cold and medium4 works better for 1/4 inch steel.

We actually just welded my big allis chalmers wd45 loader tonight. The previous tractor it was on had a tree fall on it and bent the loader. Well it turns out it wasn't my welding that caused problems. My father welded the allis loader and the wire had problems feeding. It would catch and then slip. Finally got better in the last few minutes of welding
