Is this a scam? Another Scam Alert !!!!

Craig's List in Atlanta has a 2003 John Deere 4110 - $2800 > That includes a JD FEL and JD BH ..and the picture in the ad the tractor looks brand new..only an email address no phone number...all this for $2,800 - It just has to be a scam. ??

The scam's on Craigs are daily and multitudinous. The most important thing is that the price is always too low, the background geography in the photo doesn't match your neighborhood, the tractor is always somewhere else, "ready for shipping" so you cannot actually put eyes on it, and the scheme is to get you to pre-pay "securely" through Western Union or PayPal or some such.

A fool and his money are soon parted.

I hadn't seen one in my area until this morning and it was apparently pulled. It was a 2006 BX24with four hours MMM and other stuff for $4200.

Wouldn't COMMON SENSE tell you its fake ? A dealer would pay double and not have the hassle of calls. Too many dummies.... that is why the scam continues.

It should!! Remember, it takes two for a con to work.

The con artist seller, true, but also a buyer, who thinks he is getting such a good deal and he's soooo smart and crafty. Yup, it takes two to run a con.

Bernie Madoff was selling to people's pride. He was treating them as "insiders" and the "returns" were simply too good to be true, and of course, they were.

99.9% of the time it's going to be a scam.

If it's to good to be true, flag the post and Craigslist will remove it.
Save someone else the embarassment of getting scammed.
