That's a real tragedy for this gentleman's family...

We had one about a mile from my place yesterday...Emergency Crews Rescue Man Pinned By Tractor - Pennsylvania News Story - WGAL The Susquehanna Valley
I heard the sirens and saw the medivac aircraft.
This man was a lot luckier though.

That's sad to read..63 years old!

... So, His tractor ''probably'' didn't have ROPS on it ??

I don't know how many times I've been pullin' larges trees, and just about turn the tractor over!... I always wear my seat-belt, and I never let my ROPS down while doing some serious work!

Sad to hear about that, it's close to home too. My Dad died when I was three years old when a mechanical failure caused a rollover on an old JD.

I almost always have my ROPS up and seat belt on when I'm operating. I say "almost" since it's impossible to use when grading or spreading material inside carports and such. I do what I need with it down first and then back up it goes.
