That is the kind of tractor that my 7710 was parked around that gave me the impression that it was a small tractor, slightly larger than my JD2555. Turned out to be quite an optical illusion, until I started loading it on a Landoll trailer and it overhung the sides by almost 3 feet.
Nice tractor you have there, no doubt about it!

That's when Ford was in its' hedays. They were making big Louisville L-9000 & Aeromax trucks, They were big time into agriculture, backhoes, 4 wheel loaders and of course, all kinds of cars & light/medium trucks.

Those days are long since gone. Sad to see what Ford once had, the power they had to buy Versatile and other companies. I remember back in the 80's-early 90's it seemed like Ford would rule the world.

What do you do with all those big tractors?

We have 3 of this size , This is usually my tractor and it's main jobs are pulling a 35ft air seeder and a 40ft chisel plough , Factory hp is around 280 but this one is around 320hp (Cummins L10)

Is that a New Holland before they had to stop using the brand name "Ford?"

jmf

This is a 1989 so ford were FORD-NH , But the only ford input on this tractor was the paint and dashboard ( similar to 7710 or TW series ). The tractor is still a true versatile .

My goal ( eventually ) is an all blue fleet , But i keep finding "Bargains" of other colours .

We run many trucks of all 3 stables and the boys fight for the chevs , The fords are next but the dodges seem to get left in the fields with a fuel tank in the back ?

... My wifes tahoe will out-drag the hemi ?

Why is it ,I'm the boss and i get a "92" 5.7 cheyanne ...380'000 and still the best truck on the farm?
