Tractor
Kubota B3200
Just got a new tractor, mostly for snow removal, gravel driveway maintenance, and garden ground prep.

Was over on another tractor forum and they frequently link over here so I figured I'd sign up here.

OH, my tractor is a compact, a Kubota B series 3200 with a loader. No other implements yet.,,,,yet.

Welcome to the club and forum.:welcome:
I see that you need a B3200 for the land you have. I would love to have a B3200 as well, but my BX23TLB will have to do. I am tempted though.

Thanks for the kind greetings all!

The last few snow storms while I was trying to move my household from a rental house to the new place was the clincher. Trying to maintain 2 PITA driveways with an ATV plow setup was not getting it done. Rental driveway was more of a winding cottage path through some aspens about 100 yards long. The driveway at the place I just bought is a tenth of a mile long with a low hill next to the neighbors' hayfield (drifts!!!) and then a steep hill just before the house. I burned up my ATV drive belt about an hour before deciding the tractor wasn't going to wait until next season. I had already been shopping the tractor and made the phone call when I blew the ATV belt. Delivered the next day!

I'm looking at york rakes and box blades for the driveway and tillers to garden with. The previous owner had a few large raised beds which I plain to remove the boxes, add/amend the soil, and rototill them into one. I know why they did the boxes, the hill top soils here don't seem to have much for organic material and can lack nutrients.

I got some cyphering to do on the driveway too, might add a switchback to change the steep grade before the house. Anything major there will not get done with my little machine. That's what track hoes are for ;-)

ETA - nothing wrong with the BX series. If I went with one I'd mow with it. The B3200 can take a MMM but for the price a zero turn makes more sense. Only reason I went with the B series is the amount of snow times the driveway length. I didn't want to overtax a BX. The B3200 is not for mowing side hills in my humble opinion. I don't want to test the ROPE thing.
