Another new TC 30

Hi all,

First let me say thanks for the wealth of information here. It was very helpful when I was looking at all the different equipment.

Today I bought a new TC 30 (9x3) from Theros Equipment in Fredricksburg, VA. It was a pleasure doing business with them, very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I also got the NH loader, loaded R4 tires, canopy and tooth bar installed.

It will be delivered on Monday of Tuesday. It's going to be a long weekend /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif.

I'll post some pictures next week.

Congrats Rodger. The TC-30 is a fine machine. I bought one last fall and have about 60 hours on it. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine.

Congrats on the TC 30! I too just became the proud owner of one myself! Its a very fine piece of equipment and like mine the 9x3 is very easy to operate with the controls on the dash. You'll be shifting like a pro in no time. I added a 6ft box blade and have completely cleared approx. 1 acre of very dense underbrush and removed 14-16 trees, roots and all, some as big as 4 inches in diameter. So the tractor has plenty of power to do what you need. Good luck and happy tractoring.

Congrats, on your TC-30!!! fine piece of equipment, sounds like a carbon copy of mine,except I have no canopy, I'm jealous!! It will save you head from the sun, 170 flawless hours on mine ,bought in May '03. It runs a 5' tiller, 5'rotary cutter, 5' box blade, post hole digger 9" auger, and a 6' rear finish mower very well with power to spare, I pretty sure you will be very pleased with it. enjoy

Congrats! I got a TC30 HST configured similarly to yours (minus the canopy) last year after Isabel, and I love it. Just wish I could get more seat time. Maybe if I didn't spend so much time on the computer.....

What kind of canopy is on yours?

Congratulations on the new tractor. I'm sure you'll really enjoy having it there. I can't believe how many of the TC-30 it seems like NH is selling. Must be saying something about the quality & value of the tractor.

Thanks for all the replies. The tractor was delivered today and it runs great.

I didn't have a chance to play with it too much because I had to go to work. Still put over an hour on it pushing some brush around. Also pushed a couple of small stumps out with the bucket. Handled it with ease.

Kevin, I'm not sure who the canopy manufacturer is. It doesn't have a name on it anywhere I could find. It is NH blue though. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I don't have a digital camera so I'll post some pictures in a day or two.

Does any one have any ideas on mounting a small tool box? I'm thinking on top of the fender maybe.

There have been a number of threads about this very subject. If you do a Search for "tool boxes", you should find quite a bit of information and a number of pictures of what others have done.

Here's a thread MWurm posted about his toolbox installation a couple years ago. I basically coppied the idea, but used an old ammo box instead and painted it NH Blue.
