That's usually the thing. What's next? If they were not sheepish or embrarassed about asking for something so trivial, they won't be sheepish about the next thing, and the next.

My neighbors are also great, that said, I know where the pins are. Should I ever get a bad neighbor, a fence will go up so fast, literally overnight.

I'm the one that built too close to our line. If i had a do over, my house would moved way back. Not because of neighbor, but because of road noise.

I situated house in best spot for septic and utilities though. Been there 22 yrs now.

I spent all weekend out front with the tractor putting in a new gravel parking area. I was taking a break chatting with the neighbor across the street (and older lady whose drive I plow in the winter) when one lady that lives a few streets over walks by with her little dogs and says to me "You're the neighbor everyone wishes they had!" Before I could say thanks, the neighbor I was chatting with snaps "You can't have him!" :laughing: Apparently the two ladies don't get along. :laughing:

I'm with you guys... this guy put up the fence right away and never seems to come out except to take his kid to school.

I have three other neighbors, all good ones, we help each other when needed, and we invite each other to our get togethers, we watch out for each others property when needed, but just once in awhile you end up with one.

God will help me, I just need more tolerance, some extra DG and Weed Spray would help to !

Just remember, no matter how bad it seems, it could be way worse. I too suffer from lack of tolerance. I am working on it. :laughing:

S82, sorry to hear you have such a crappy neighbor. Stick to your convictions. I admire and like your use of no, ain’t gonna happen. I try hard to keep my composure regardless of the other guy. (I ‘m not perfect but I don’t want to let whatever is going on in their head cause me to be a jack*** also.). Keep telling him no; when you do see him, smile and wave if you want but I’d let him come all the way over to me. Glad you got to vent.

Interesting thread; good neighbors and not so good. I can appreciate the good and sympathize with the bad as I've had both. My posts tend to the lengthy side, so I'll spare everyone.

My neighbours wife was apparently "jumping out of her skin" some years ago, on account of my factory installed backup alarm. I disconnected it. Funny, they were out farming the other day and I distinctly heard a backup alarm on their newest equipment .

I'm just going to let this one go.

Strange to be creeped out by a truck 200-300 ft. away. If turning it around makes them happy, that's ok.
