I'm looking at 2 tractors-one with a 210 loader and one with a 200cx. I've looked through several old posts now and I'm curious if there are any new thoughts since the 200cx has been out for a while. I understand that the 200cx is part or mostly cast??? Isn't this going to make for a weaker loader?? But the 210 is not cast? The 210 looks more solid to me. The stand especially... I found some old posts where a few members had problems with their 300cx bucket clamps break. Any problems on the 200cx's? Any comments? The specs are certainly very good on the 200cx. There sure are some good posts on the 200cx as well.

Just trying to make a good purchase /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

JEH,

This was something I was curious about, so I stopped off at my dealer and looked the 200CX over with my salesman. At first glance, it does look "lighter-duty" than the 210. The arms are "tiny" looking, but if you look closely, there are welded support beams within the tubes. My salesman said this was covered at the Deere camp this year, and the 200CX does have greater strength. This is why it can and is used on the 2520 and the soon to be available 2320. I personally don't like the stantions that stick up when the loader is removed, but in the real world, what difference does it make? We also discussed the stantion castings, and though economics probably is at play, Deere Camp mentioned that the new design was developed because the 210 design tended to loosen up after time (something I have noticed, although it hasn't affected performance).

I've got to think that if Deere puts this exact loader on their largest small frame tractor, it's got to be able to perform on a 2305. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I have used the 210 loader on a 2210 for newly three years and have found them to be very rugged, no problems or complaints. However, recently I had the opportunity to swap my 210 loader for a 200CX loader (only one week of playing so far and on a 2210, which the 210 came off) and I like it better. IMO there are two real advantages for me: A) the loader does in fact stick out further from tractor, maybe only 3-5 inches more (I'm planning on posting a few pics soon in a side by side shot of a 2210/210 and mine), but when you couple that with the rounded arms you get a much better view of the bucket and I think it will greatly improve my loader skills. B) the loader does lift about 5-inches higher and that is significant to me, because I have a dump trailer and my old 210 could just clear the side board and now I have some free space to clear the trailer.

As for overall lifting ability between the two loaders, I'm not sure a difference exist, but I'm sure someone on this site will establish a true weight for the 200CX like was done on the 210. However, one thing is for sure, regardless which one you own they have never been accused of being under powered and do have an attitude /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Wonderful info guys. Thanks so much for taking the time to post. I'm most interest in getting the best unit and don't want to be caught up in getting the newest design. I just want to be sure they work well and are quality machines. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I have a 200cx loader on a 4110. I bought the tractor and loader in June, and have only used the loader a few times for light work until this week. Earlier this week I had 57 tons of gravel delivered and dumped in piles so I could spread it in places that were too small for a large truck to spread.

I'm extremly satisfied with my tractor/loader combination. Everything worked flawlessly and the 200cx is capable of lifting enough material to raise the rear wheels off the ground and thats with the tires loaded with fluid.

I don't have any experiance with the other loader models, but the 200cx IMHO is a great loader. Also very easy to remove and install on the tractor.
