Another Kind of Craigslist Scam

FYI, you may want to keep your tractors hidden. My uncle was telling me that his neighbor called him to tell him that his New Holland was for sale on Craigslist. Apparently, his tractor was sitting by the road and someone driving by just snapped some pictures and offered it for sale...:confused2:

Unfortunately there are hundreds of scams like that posted every day across the county on CL. Buyer beware.

The scammers are always looking for pictures to make an ad look real. I don't think they had any intentions of stealing his tractor.

Yep, all over the place of CL. I like CL and there are a lot of legit sellers offering things at good prices but there are also some jokers fishing for email addys and hoping to find somebody who'll by "sight unseen" at an astoundingly low price and then disappear.


The $2500 Kubotas with all the goodies are the ones that crack me up the most......
