I've appearently have two 70's and two 71's on the same tool bar. Anyway the 70's have a cast longer seed tube chute that's sorta oval shaped and the 71"s have a shorter squarish short cast chute. Now, I don't have any kind of factory tube extensions on them. I took and stuck a piece of 1" PVC pipe in the 71's just to get the seed dropped down between the openers. Do I need to get the proper seed tube extensions? You have to take off one side of the openers to even see this. My openers were Loctited and a real bear to get the disc off. bjr
