Certainly like the EZ-On/EZ-Off! Four pins, and a couple hoses! Ahh Our NYSTA Toll/Taxes at work!! I've probably bought them three or four of those over the years! Wonder if I showed up, and asked to borrow one of 'my' plows through the winter..........

compared to the NY DOT, the t-way authority has nice stuff. you will NEVER see an open cab t-way mower, or snow tractor. union regs dictate that if the machine has an option of having a cab, it must come with it.

and yes, they do put sweepers on the tractors in the summer.

i spend alot of time in t-way maintenance shops/yards; ive seen it all

There can be some side push, but with the hyd. control of blade angle, just turning the blade will help control that side push. All depends on the snow, ice, slush, packing, etc. But there is a lot of weight on the front end of the tractor shown. As well, lifting slightly on the blade will add all the blade and frame weight to the front wheels.

So in the end, side push prolly doesn't bother much. The dog can still wag it's tail as needed.

So let me get this straight you are gong to steer the tractor by angling the blade and can only plow a certain type of snow,and you can't leave the blade all of the way down so you can get weight on the high floatation tires.
Must be a union job!
