Hey all,
I'm not in the business of doing land clearing but I do run a tree service specializing in taking down big trees. I am doing my research on finding a skid steer to move around logs, winch, grapple and to run a custom designed wood splitter. I am attracted to the ASV 100 because of the 45gpm available.

It sounds like brush mowing really beats up these machines. How durable would you rate the ASV for what I'm describing?

Well I'm a Dealer and probably biased. But I think the new 100 is probably the best CTL forestry unit built. I have a couple of units with over 1500 hours in brush mowing in basically 1 year of use not with out problems on of them is #4 off the line. But basically 0 in undercarriage repairs one broken 10" wheel Tracks at 50% or so And the original problems on the first machines have been updated and taken care of. I'd buy one for myself in a heart beat in fact I have 2 brand-new ones in my rental fleet.

Seeying you'r a dealer!
Got a question for ye.?
I wonder what the pressure in the hydr cooling cicuit of a ASV 4810 is?
I phoned two local dealers and neither one can tell me.

The reason i ask is that when opening the backdoor that houses the radiators for cleaning the rads, i can swing that door only 4" open cause the hoses to and fro the cooler rad are to short, and to stiff to put longer ones in.
These hoses are rated for 4000 psi and i don't think that heavy is nessecairy.
The hoses apear to be factory.
I want to replace them with other lighter more flexable hoses but need to know the max pressure on the cooling side.
