I've been trying to learn all I can from everyone out there in tractor land and it really helps...Thanks! I'm still not exactly sure if I should go with 7510 or 7610??? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I own 5 ac. 2.5 woods 2.5 mowing 1000' gravel driveway to plow + the usual tractor things I'm sure I will find to do. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

This is my first tractor and probably my only tractor.

I felt the same way, and ended up buying a B2910. I am real happy with it and it works well. It even cut the grass real well with a RFM, and I suppose had I bought a MMM I would still be totally happy with one tractor on my 3.7 acres.

My unsolicited advice would be to carefully check out ALL the tractors in the B7500 and the B2910 size range. At first I thought the B2910 was HUGE. Now I see it is perfectly sized for my needs. I do have a bx2200 also, but if I had to only have one tractor, the BX would be in someone else's shed.

The B2910/rfm cut grass better than my Yardman garden tractor. I just had too many things to cut around and felt a MMM would be better for me, and the wife approved of the MMM purchase with a BX attached, so I went for it in her moment of weakness... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

As you increase tractor size, you get more tractor for dollar spent. If you can afford it, err on the larger size, and get the most for your money.

Now that I have the smaller bx, if I could, I might like to trade the B2910 on a L3430...but that won't happen. The B2910 is just too perfect for my long term needs... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

By the way, the L3430 calls to me because of the BH90 backhoe, which is a better hoe than the 3PH hoe I have for my B2910...and only for that reason...well, almost only... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

WELL.......I decided on the B7510HSD/FROPS/IND.TIRES(REAR FILLED)/302FEL(3 CHAIN HOOKS)/60" MMM/LAND PRIDE 5' RB/TOOTHBAR/REAR LIGHT KIT........$15,OOO.....

There are six Kubota dealers with-in 50 miles of me all of them were right in this price range..Three dealers had the 7510's.Two didn't have any yet.......and don't know when they will get um!!.......I don't know if this is such a great price??? But nothings cheap here in Northern Va...To close to Washington D.C. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

As for the 7610 I was told it would run around $1500 more......I couldn't see going anymore higher for 3hp engine/2hp PTO more........Besides I was at my cut-off point with the 7510....IT'S TO BE IN MY DRIVEWAY SATURDAY MORNING....I can't wait..... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

That is in the ballpark. I purshesed the 7500 last Oct with the same set up you have plus a Woods 6500 backhoe for $22,000.
I enjoy every minunte of it.

Bill:

If you got a 5030 like I have, you'd have to kick your van out of the garage and put the 5030 in it's place. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Crown,
Thanks for the congrats.. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I live in Culpeper county not to far from you.I got my 7510 from Haynes Outdoors in Orange Va.It was delivered this morning about 9:30 /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gifbut I didn't get to play with it til late afternoon /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif only put 1hr on it but what a hour it was........I can't believe its finally here..I'ts going to take some time before I know what I'm doing ...But tractor time is good time /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gifHow about a question for You..The dealer is letting me use a 6' Land Pride RB(new) until he gets more 5' blades in.If I like it he said keep it for same price as 5' blade.Would you go with 5' or 6' RB.It seems that most B7500 owners go with 5' blades.....By the way is it cold enough for you out there in Winchester. It's a nice area out there in the Blue Ridge....See Ya later.

CableDog,
About the blade question it depends on what you will be using it for if you plan on doing alot of ground engaging dirt work I would go with the 5 footer, but if snow removal is its major use keep the 6. I have a five but the six sure would be nice for all the snow we got this year as well as last. As for the whether it is certianly cold enough for me /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif, but each day we get one day closer to spring. Have fun and be safe. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
