I'm not an expert but have been through this subject in the past. I hope you are aware that the easement DOES NOT allow you to destroy anything. If the power company is doing the installation, they know exactly what to do. You don't have to worry about it. They deal with this all the time. It's better for them to deal with your neighbor then you try to get involve. They probably already factored into the price or their insurance should cover the unknowns. Even with a recorded easement, your neighbor can give you a hard time and delay your project infinitely if he choose to do so.
If you piss him off, he can legally make your installation cost a whole lot more. Check with an attorney.
