You should be OK to blast some slugs thru it with the MOD. choke tube in it. You can make your own choke wrench pretty easy from some thin metal. You might be surprised how accurate and how far you could take a deer with a smoothbore shotgun with slugs.

I had to watch this again after telling some people at work today about it, 230 YARDS, through 1-1/2" pressed board, they all said IMPOSSIBLE, doesn't anyone here know how far that is, it's almost 690 ft. I my self thought it was AMAZING, but the silence here about this video tell's me that's the norm for 12 ga. slug, or I only shoot 22s, but the people at my work say, we'll I have a 12 ga, I know how far it will shoot, so he's has to be using some sort of high performance rifled barrel, or, oh he has to be using some 3'' magnum slug that was special ordered.......Is Hickcok45 doing a slick hick trick here?

I'm pretty sure he's as honest as they come and there'd be a huge backlash and ruin his credibility if it wasn't true.

I imagine he's really hitting it, and he's probably aiming at the very top, and getting 3 ft of bullet drop.

No, It is a smooth bore with foster slugs. He IS a very good shot, it is his range, he shoots about every day, and you can bet your last dollar he took some "sight in" shots if not on the table top on something about the same distance before going on camera. That is only good sense. But is what he did possible.. You bet. For a skilled shooter.. He shoots pistols and hits steel targets well over 100 yards. I personally have shot water filled milk jugs at 125 yards with a hit nearly every time.. And I have done it more than once.

here is a 1000 yard shot with a 9mm.. and no I am not even a pimple as compared to J Miculek in speed or accuracy. I might be better looking.

My range is kind of like that too. If I shoot 200yds you are shooting level but I have a dip in the middle too so 100yds you are shooting down hill a bit. I have more deliberate back stops ... 10+ft. tall (1/2 width of range at 100yds and full width at 200yds).

I like Jerry. His youtube channel is great. I've never met him but guys in my club know him and have shot with him yearly at Bianchi Cup. I did meet this lady. She came to our range and shot an NRA Action Pistol match. I about fell down when I learned her age! Vera Koo |
