You actually have to do a 24 hour class if your born after 1980 in order to get hunting license.

there are revolver long guns too. Circuit judge. I have one, and it 'calls in' like a long gun.

This is my home self defense shotgun. There are revolver shotguns too !

6 rounds of .410 ga 00 buck in a handgun. That's 18 approx .38 cal lead projectiles coming out of a revolver at nearly .38 spl velocity....3 projectiles at a time.

I really hope to never find out how effective 00 is.

You actually have to do a 24 hour class if your born after 1980 in order to get hunting license. I'm pretty sure the year, but I'm not swearing to it. I know that I had too, and I was born in 1982.

Also, when I was in 6th grade in WVa, in shop class (mandatory) everyone got a week of hunters safety. But FL doesn't recognize it... really I feel like all schools should have some hunting/gun basics around middle school age.

Good trade off to not being limited to scatterguns, or essentially a musket ( slug ) to hunt with...

Because too many people took too many shots at too far of a distance and crippled too many deer, with buckshot. That's a lot of "too's", but that's most likely the reason.

That may or may not be right, but I can't think of anything else, and it makes some sense.. so we will go with that.

Got news for ya. That varies by state. I hunt out west every year and each state is different. I was born in 50 and some states still require a hunter safety course and certification, Idaho is one.
