I can remember in the not too distant past buying all you wanted of the Chinese Norinco .223 ammo for $3.00 per box of 20.. We used to literally buy it by the case. It was brass and boxer primed. You could even reload it! I should have filled a warehouse with the stuff.

You can weld them too! My wife has given me several things made out of them. One is a cool jet painted gold made out of steel 7.62x39 cases.

For the sharp dressed man:
I don't have any concern about what might happen to any "hoarded" ammo I have if something "happens" to me or after I'm gone. In fact, I have explicit instructions in my "Letter of Final Wishes" for my executor to distribute both ammo and all my reloading stuff to specific heirs, according to caliber.
