Don't know about 45AR, don't have any to try and am not familiar with it. I know you must use the clip with the .45ACP or they will fall into the magazine. Other than with the clip, it requires a rimmed cartridge like the .410 and .45LC.

For hand gun shooting, I like the 1858 Remington, with 2, 45LC conversion cylinders, gives me that Pale Rider feeling without the accuracy. The other one is the 1851 Navy 36 cal. and also with a conversion cylinder for 38 cal. heel bullet, a complicated round that I can barely understand, but is't fun to shoot, a few rounds of black power then the Kirst Konverter 38LC.

What's the hand gun Sylvester Stallone using in that Expendable 3 movie?

Has anyone ever used a shot gun to pistol adapter? Shotgun/Revolver Adapter 41 to 9mm - Gunadapters.com
It seems several companies make and sell them in various sizes. 9mm in a .410 could be a cheap shooter. Although, 9mm from an unrivaled 4 or 6" barrel-tube adapter probably is 1 ft groups at 25 yards. How would the pressures work? 9mm Parabellum has quite a bit more pressure than a .410 shot sell.

With the adaptor there is also a lot more metal surrounding the cartridge case. And it is fully supported as there is no feed ramp leaving portion of the cartridge web unsupported. So I would not worry about the pressure much, although your accuracy concerns I would share.

Yup, there was a picture and description of the revolver, custom 45LC, by the looks of the hammer, no wonder he fired it fast. I thought it might of been one of those 410 revolver I heard about.
Side note, Loved that movie, best of the three by far, I like that in your face acting by Mel Gibson, and Antonio was a riot, all the actors were great.

45 ar. ( auto rim). Is a heavy rimmed 45acp.

And the rim is the same thickness as 45 ACP in a clip. It was made for use in 45 ACP revolvers, so you wouldn't need a clip.

So, we gave my son the .410 Yaldiz break barrel Saturday at birthday party, and he fires it for the first time today. He really liked it, hit everything he was aiming at, but after 5 or 6 in a row, he wanted to "rest his shoulder". I tried it, and I was surprised, it kicked quite a bit for a .410. The gun is only 3.3 lbs, and I'm sure that is part of it. Going to have to pick up some clays and maybe a thrower to keep him excited about it.
