Good idea but without a lid of some sort it seems like it would be full of dirt and debris in no time at all. Hope you have some drain holes drilled in the bottom.

Yes have drain holes, and only used for chains, so dirt doesn't bother me. I keep tractor in barn so never out in the weather, unless working in it.

Yup. This is it. THank you Cramby. Love the position of this. I can't fabricate my own but will try to find an ammo can that will fit on the front of my 3540. It needs to be about 15 inches wide. Thanks again.
