American filter numbers for BX23?

I just did a search here and found the following info....Does anyone have anything to add? My Kubota dealer is a 2 to 3 hour round trip...my Wix & Fram dealer [ auto parts] is 20 minutes round trip..20 minutes wins! but I need part numbers...can anyone confirm these for the engine oil, and what about the hydraulic oil filter?

Why do many members here feel it is necessary to drive to the dealership to pick up parts? Any dealer that is serious about selling parts can ship them out. A phone and credit card should get you a set of filters on your porch within a day or maybe two.

As far as the hydro filter goes, Kubota is the only way to go.

I don't get it, If you prefer to get kubota brand filters only, then just order them online. either thru ebay or one of the several wonderful online kubota merchets like messicks. No driving, 10 mins online and go about your day. :thumbsup:

For me my dealer is 30 mins, but when I do go by that area for something else, I'll stop in and get 2 filters at a time plus oil to tide me over a couple oil changes. Much easier to have your own stock.

Agree with radioman that most posts like this cause me to scratch my head.
When you own a machine and are committed to keeping it, why not have at least one full service package on the shelf? You know you're gonna need it. I don't have a dealer within 90 minutes of driving either, yet over the course of a year, surely, I'll go past one during business hours. Yes, shipping works too!!

As far as oil and fluids, I like to stay at least a change or two ahead. Pretty sure the price isn't going to go down.

My local farm store stocks Hastings, which I prefer for the oil filter, so that too is easy, I keep a couple on the shelf.

Waiting 'til the last minute, procrastination, not planning ahead, getting caught short.... I don't like any of those.

I've run into situations in the past where something happens and I need a replacement filter, and of course that is the time I don't have extras on hand. Having a cross-reference to other brands is a life saver if it means I can get the machine up and running again within a couple hours.
Most of the time, I order my Kubota stuff through Messicks.
