Kubota BX24
This site has been a great help in solving/detecting/preventing problems with my BX24. Thanks to everyone. I have one question. I am getting ready to change the hydro fluid throughout the tractor. My Kubota dealer says that I should use only Super UDT put out by Kubota for warranty reasons. Is that just a scare tactic to use Kubota brand products? Just wanted to know if Ambra multi G-134 is just as good. (p.s. another Kubota/New Holland dealer in my area only sales and recomends Ambra). What is everyones opinion on this topic? Thanks Alot for all of your input.

We sell both, we use SUDT. Its about a $20 difference and will last a good 300 hours in your tractor. Personaly I'd do it just for the peace of mind.

In my opinion (and reflected in my actions) - use the Kubota SUDT until at least the end of the Kubota warranty... I know you can use anything and the warranty is still in effect... but like Messick says (sorta) - it's one less thing to worry about IF you need to invoke the warranty... cheap mental insurance!

Funny, I just wrote about this in another thread. My NH/Kubota dealer only sells (and claims they use) the Ambra as well. For me, the warranty was not an issue as I bought the 7800 (from the dealer) with 1 year remaining on the warranty.
