Am I the only guy to kill black snakes via sliding shed door?

I hear you. After I retired, we baby-sat my twin grandsons until the were in grade school. Sharn Jean is a professional seamstress, and keeps busy with that, so I have basically taken over most of the household duties. I was amazed, at how much work has to be done, especially with kids in the house, and living on an acreage. I have a new respect for what stay-at-home moms contribute to a marriage and family.

My wife amazes me. She has worked at the same company for 27 years, working at least 40 hours a week. She's blessed that writing software, she can do it from the home since she moved to NC.

Better person, better Christian, and a much better cook than myself. If we ever get divorced, my dad will still keep her for a daughter and disown me, and I'm dead serious LOL (after dating a buttload of girls, when I dated her, she and my dad got along great which told me what I needed to know as my father is important to me).

Funny thing, when shes home, NO ONE comes to me for anything, the boys and even the pets go to her. I'm like the third wheel that everyone ingores. My wife calls it the invisible cone of silence beacuse everyone ignores me. I won't lie, I kind of don't mind it at times.

I killed one of my wife's cats with the sliding barn door once long ago. Smooched his head between the upright post and door sill and no, I disposed of the evidence discretely. Totally an accident, I swear.
