Dealer Am I expecting too much from my dealer?

There's nobody more impatient than a guy (or gal) who has plunked down a serious amount of money for a new tractor. Unfortunately, no one else in the chain of actors in this play share the same urgency. When I buy something new like this, I psych myself up at the beginning to expect a very long lead time before I get my hands on the product, thereby avoiding such mental turmoil.

Expectation management needs to be done by the dealer and the buyer. Often times dealers promise the world and know they cant deliver. And you got customers that think because they spend top dollar they deserve the world.

It's been delivered.

Thing is much 'larger' than I recall. And sure is a beast. IMG_20191009_161547.jpg

Congrats on delivery. It'll get smaller as you use it. Enjoy the new toy, I mean tool. :)

Congrats on the new machine.

Messicks just release a nice video for new tractor deliveries.

Congrats! I am waiting on an NX5010C shuttle. Can't wait to see it next to my Mahindra 3616. All that the dealer is waiting on is the 3rd rear remote.

I think tractors are a lot like boats. They sure do look big at the dealer, but once you put them to work you realize you could always use a bigger one. It only takes money.

Weird, mine told me it wasn't possible to have 3 'stock' rear remotes. Despite their being a picture of all three on rear of the tractor. I didn't want to argue or press the issue since I don't really envision using 3 remotes ever. IMG_20191009_190230.jpg

Not picking on anybody. Just rambling...

So I'm buying a $30K new tractor. It costs $300 to add a 3rd rear remote. I wouldn't do it because????

My thoughts exactly. That's why I added the second rear remote.

But I did do some Googling. Found out why I cannot add the third to mine. Apparently the ROPS version is different than the cabbed tractor. Cabbed tractors have (3) slots for rear remote levers while ROPS only have two.

I hadn't noticed this on mine as they haven't installed the second remote yet. Still waiting on the part to come in.
