Alternator for L4200 with cab ?

I recently added a cab to my L4200 and am wanting to upgrade the alternator, does anyone have the part number for the alternator that Kubota used on their factory cabbed L4200's?

Try Messick's website Kubota Parts. On the right hand side, type in your model number and different versions of your model number will popup. Select the correct one and a part listing will display. It may have the info you are looking for.

It is Kubota part # TA043-74010...
But if you have any good auto supply places you can find new alternators (same make) for a LOT less.
They also show up on Ebay new for about a half - third the price.

Who does make the alternator? any way to cross reference it? I want to upgrade but I do not want to spend $500 for one,

Hello Mike...
Yours is most likely a NipponDenso 40amp 12volt. that alternator new is on ebay Item number:270492398457 $100.
I think Lester also is on some... There are a few other makes that are identical and interchangeable.
