Ill make it short. No pun intended.

Putting 2 led flood lights on my ck27. All wired up. Turned them on for the first time. Nothing. The + wire was rather hot. I figured must be a bad ground. Go to turn the key on and now the cluster is dead. Tractor won't turn over. Checked fuses, can't see a bad one. Battery has a full charge. :-(. Any words of advise appreciated.

Chris, did you check the main fuse the 60 amp in line.. Usually near the alternator. Of course first unhook what you wired up and check this fuse..

Just found 60amp in my wiring manual. Gotta go out and find it/check it. No juice to anything so that's gotta be popped. I'm pretty good with basic wiring. Moreso Ac than dc. Don't know what I could have screwed up.

to blow the 60 amp, something touching ground, would be my first thought good luck.. wish I had a schematic to help you.

Ok. This is what I did.

Stripped out 100% of wiring I put in for lights.
Installed new main fuse.
Everything is back to normal and functioning.

I hooked up the lights to the rear bullet connectors installed @ the factory.
Turned key on and nothing.
Checked fuses and a 7.5 amp is blown. "Combination switch".

I am frustrated to all HeII. :-(

It is going to be OK, we can fix this......now, do you own an Ohm meter. (volt ohm milliamp multimeter).. if not go buy one.. and call back.
