Aloha from Hawaii

I'm recently retired and spend most of my time when the wife doesn't have me doing "honeydos" playing in my shop, garden, small orchard, and aquaponics. Love designing and building metal, wood and electronic gadgets. When I lived on the mainland 30+ years ago I always had a tractor and acreage to play with. Retirement gives me the time to enjoy my home acre and have a tractor again. The good news is that everything grows in Hawaii...the bad news is that everything grows in Hawaii. Looking forward to meeting other tractor enthusiasts learning about all the ins & outs of my new toy.

Been to Kona once.... it's on my Places To Go Back To list. Did some snorkeling and got out on a catamaran..... good fun for a guy that doesn't like lying on a beach for long.....

I liked the whole island, esp. the high-country around Waimea. Next time I'd like to rent an RV, and start with what I missed last time.

Thanks all...acquired a PTO concrete mixer with the tractor and attempting to hook up the remote hydraulics. Will need some advice when I get more familiar with the system.
