I bough this gravely a 5240 shiftomatic from a guy somewhat west of Waco, TX. But I did have a 54 L gravely and a 12 horse Sears rider w/48 belly mower years ago. The 5240 started out ok mowed the yard 3 and a half times then it just stopped going forward or backward motor 8h koler and PTO both ok. It has stopped in the past but I found that if I pushed down on the handles and rolled it back a foot or so it would grab and go to mowing but not this time. it does roll ok oil in both motor and trans what I have added is 10w 40 and is good level. I though that the I would be the only person to have a Gravely in Texas but I even see that's not true. If any one has see this problem or could point me in a direction would be greatly appreciated. One other thing the range is dissabled in the low range. Lin72
