Allpro vs. Gatormade utility trailer

Considering the same specs on either trailer being a 76'x16' utility trailer with 2-3500lb axles with brakes, which would you prefer?

I cant really find online specs for each trailer, but essentially they are the same and they are very near the same price. I believe the Gator has a 5" channel tongue and the Allpro has 4", but that is negligible to me and represented by a slight difference in price. I would have to travel out of state to get either one, and I am figuring in the travel expenses as well.

I appreciate your help on making this decision.

BTW, I decided to go with the wood deck.

Certainly someone has experience with either or both manufacturers. I just want some opinion, not any bashing one against the other.

I will bite. My neighbor has a 18' Gatormade carhauler. I can't say a bad thing about it. I think they are hard to beat for the price. I have heard that the paint job is not the best, but all I have seen look OK.

Just look at the wiring under trailer before you buy one, some manufactors do crapy work, its been talked about many times on here, from all makes and models. Good luck and post some pics

I have a Gatormade. The design and welds are excelent but paint was less than desireable and the hub seals/brake shoes/wheel bearings were junk. I filed a complaint with the BBB of Somerset, KY but that got nowhere. This was also on a 09 trailer.

Gatormade are very popular in Indiana. I have never sold one personally but have done work on the. I would say they are average and a very good buy for the buck.

That being said, I have not dealt with any for the last 2-3 years. New Blue and a couple others lead me to believe they have gone down in quality. I am sure its not just Gatormade with this economy everyone is looking to cut corners.
