Allmand brothers 425 tlb hydrostat pedal damper

Hello,
Trying to get my allmand brothers 425 Back in service. It sat for a long while. I need to replace the hydrostatic drive damper for the pedal. It’s listed as part number 920811 made by avm. It’s listed as a self centering damper. Any info on a suitable replacement would be appreciated.

Hi thanks for the reply. Problem is allmand no longer makes or supports the tractors, and avm does not have any phone numbers I can reach them at.

I was able to free up the old one and here are the length specifications from the centers of the mounting screws:

neutral length: 8 3/4”
full fwd length: 9 7/8” ( extended)
full reverse length: 8 1/4 “ (compressed)
if anyone knows of one with about these specs please let me know. I can always redrill the mounting hole to accommodate one with similar specs.

I found that guden lists a self centering damper model scd12 and scd9 ( for 12 and 9 lbs of force), but can’t locate either because they said they don’t have a suppliers for these anymore

Hi Mini14,
I forgot about this and started looking back into it. I changed a]ll the hoses on my allmand after one ruptured.
Now i need the self centering damper. Did you ever find one that works?
I see a few that may be usable, but was looking for some input.

Mine is still working the way it should so i never followed up on it but always thought i would use old school springs and small turnbuckles if mine stopped working some trial and error to keep it from creeping.
