Well I used my BX to vacuum up leaves yesterday. (pretty rare to see snow here in SC :p )
Man this thing does wonders making my lawn look like a well kept yard! First time I've ever even bothered to really keep up the yard.
I would have takin' pics of the yard but that would have taken away from the fun of "work".

It was good to get some seat time on the 2230. :D

Hey, SC, what kind of attachment do you have to vacuum up leaves? I'd be interested in something like that.

I took off the pipe that connects from the deck to the pto vac.

This thing will suck up leave, acorns etc. very easy.

Hi SC...I've got the same bagging system for my BX23 with 54" mmm installed, but haven't hooked up the bagger yet...Was it much of a strain?

Nice setup. Are you saying that this will suck up leaves, etc. as is without the hose? Thing is, I don't have/ am not getting a mower for my machine, but I have tons of leaves I'd like to vacuum up in the fall. Is this possible?

I think the mower acts as the head of the vacuum. You would need to fab something to hover over the ground to apply suction to ground. Don't see why it couldn't be done. Good luck. I'm sure the forum would be interested in pictures.:)

I took the hose and adapter off just before I took the pic. It needs the hose attached to the mower to vacuum.
When I got the tractor it had the bagging system installed. There is plenty of power to run both PTO's . Its very easy to use, the bags just get heavy with all the leaves etc. ;)
