I buy all my chemicals from Wilbur Ellis, they have a outlet here and I have an account with them plus my pesticide / herbicide certifications are on file with them. Here in Michigan, you have to have a state license to purchase many chemicals for application and I don't buy generic Glyphosate either. I only purchase Roundup Ultra Max and here you have to have the applicators license to buy it.

Just found out we have a RK near us about 45 mins away. Chicken feed prices are about $4 a bag so gotta buy at least 2 to "break even" for that distance. Not a problem though... :) . Found several things there I didn't know I needed... Bought some baking potato seed taters, I planted last Sat.

To me it was about like TSC, Agrisupply had a baby AND started selling guns. I plan to make bi monthly trips for at least the chicken feed alone.

I also saw the glysophate at $54. Good price but I well stocked for this year.

Saw the tractors in the parking lot but I am "ok" on mine for now.

I wondered about their demographics team, seems they follow TSC stores around. I wish they'd follow them a little closer my way.
Get some popcorn while you're there!

No RK stores close to here but I have bought firearms from them and have them shipped to my local FFL. I also buy from Palmetto (firearms), just ordered a 50 AE Desert Eagle from them. I like big bore handguns and DE's are very hard to get around here.

I wanted one of the DE 50 cals. Until I rented one from the gun range. Went through a box of ammo. Almost every shell that extracted out would hit me between the eyes on my forehead. Cut me up pretty good too. Being on a thinner, that wouldn't work out too well long term. I would a thought they wouldn't design it to flip the shells towards a persons face...

I got big hands so I also like big guns. I ended up buying a ruger 480 revolver but it got to be way over $3 a shot. Everyone I knew wanted to shoot it at least once, to say they had. I ended up trading it for something else, forget what that was.

I have and shoot a S&W 44 mag, long barrel wheelgun as well as a Smith 460 XVR Performance center long barrel wheelgun. The ultimate deer and hog hammer. Only scoped handgun I own and it needs a scope on it. I handload all my ammo and will handload the 50 as well.....

Nice... Only scoped pistol I had was a 30/30 contender. Shot at ihmsha tagets 50/100/150/200 yds. Shot at a doe with it ONCE. No ear protection (my fault), this was pre electronic ear muffs era or at least I hadn't g=heard of em. Only had a few pains as intense as that was.

I too reloaded the rounds along with my hunting rounds. I loved doing that, one day I plan to return to doing that.

One thing I'd never buy from RK even if they had a store here is one of their tractors. They have the same issue that Cabelas had selling tractors, no service department.
Thats not true the one i bought mine from has a service department.

I do like them better than TSC, though. They have a lot more selection, and better prices.
Better prices ? Guess it depends on what you're buying. I can buy 2.4.D at TSC cheaper than Rural King . Same brand

It definitely depends on what you buy. For the most part it seems to me that RK does have better pricing BUT, you have to watch because not always. I had been looking at a large air compressor they both carried and TSC was $50 cheaper on it than RK.

That was 7 years ago. I haven't been to TSC but a couple times since, looking for tractor supplies, which they had very few of.
