Mr. Kubota and I are just sitting around waiting for snow. All we've got this last month is sub-zero temps. Had 2 good storms earlier in the year but the rain took care of that. Now all we've got is ice and rock hard snow. My $2600 investment(woods 74" snow blower) is rusting, we better get some snow soon or I'm going to hook-up the back-hoe and see if I can break thru this frozen ground and dig myself a hole , just to keep in practice. When I first got my back-hoe, my back yard looked like a mine field where a herd of elephants run thru. My wife had a few chose words for me. Did you know a 12" pine stump leaves quite a hole after you dig it up? You guys must of figured out that I'm bored out of my mine right know, and have resorted to entertaining complete strangers with useless information.

I've got plenty of snow, you can come and play with some of mine. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I won't even charge you much. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ohio has snow with another large storm in the making for later today. You are most welcome to drag my snowblower behind my TC-40D for practice if you feel the need. I'm always willing to share. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I plowed my drive last week when there was but 1 inch of snow......good thing the neighbors didn't see me otherwise I'd be carted off to the looney bin.
My shop was at -19 this afternoon so woodworking is out of the question.....hey BBELL, you guys need any help building those boats up at Bath?

BBELL, get yourself a Herd sand spreader and around 10 tons of treated sand. Over here in NH we haven't had any storms, since the December ones, either. But, I still get an inch or two of 'snow showers' on my drive every week. It is not enough to plow, but perfect for using the spreader. Charges the battery, moves the fluids around, and gets you some seat time to boot. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

We got about 8 inches here (eastern panhandle of WV) Friday night into Saturday morning, but it was real light powdery snow and now fun to move. They are calling for another 5 to 10 tonight into Monday morning. The heater went out on my 4 wheel drive, so I guess I will be staying home from work and plowing more snow.

We are very cold too. I've plowed three times. 6", 5", and 4". Forcast looks like maybe more on Monday or Tuesday. I'll see if I can send some your way. Sound like the makings of a Steven King novel, A Kubota owner in Maine with a snow blade goes crazy because it never snows at his house.

I've got a 633 Manitou loader in my yard and the only thing falling is the temperature. It's been cold enough!

This past Saturday I thought I would just start the girl up and take a run up the road just to move the fluids; that was only enough to get me wanting more; I plowed the back yard, don't know why, yea I do /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif Only problem is I got a little to low in a few spots. Now I have a seeding job ahead.

That's part of the fun of plowing! You should see my yard!
