I am glad to hear yours is running again. Our POS Mahindra was broken worse by the last dealer after a three week wait. So, we took it to the other dealer, only 120 miles round trip from our barn. With the promise that it would be fixed within a week, unless it was something major. He has too many tractors in the shop and hasn't been able to fix it yet.

Our selling dealer only has a part time Mechanic(Four week wait to get it in) so we have to haul out to one of two dealers and they both suck. The last one charged us to break it worse than it was.

They must truly sell these POS's out of barns and not care about the customers after they get their money.

One of my worse mistakes ever was buying this thing. If anyone wants a 6025 with a FEL let me know before buying. I feel for you, you have three of them. I am glad we only have one to get rid of.

Dingy, I would think by now that you would be so disgusted that you would just leave your POS Mahindra 6025 at the dealer and let them keep it. After all, you know that you are going to have to pay someone to take it off your hands. Why bother spending good $$$$ after bad? Cut your loses and move on for goodness sake, life is to short.

Good luck with your next machine, whatever make it may be. ;)

Yeah, (as dingy has yet to fill in his/her profile, and I don't know where "it" is) I will nevertheless make the following offer: Pick your 6025 from the dealer transport it here to VA, and I'll take it for $2000////but I will only accept cash or Postal Money orders. BobG in VA

Dingy,
I'm not wanting to get rid of any of mine. In case you missed it the 6000 has not been to the shop in 5 years. Normal services only! The clutch was abused. Not just by me, but by my friend too. I still got 900 hours from it. I have no complaints other than the wheels on the 7010! Titan supplies wheels to more makes than just Mahindra. The 3316 is a great little tractor. I absolutely love it too!
My only real gripe is the time frame it takes to get parts sometimes. I think anyone would assume if they spent the kind of money I have with my dealer that he would eat a little shipping cost to keep me happy. Afterall in 5 years I have purchased three tractors from him. I'm only 35 and I seem to replace or add to the tractors on my place every few years so it would stand to reason I'll buy more somewhere. As I said my dealer was away for the whole week and I think that may have had something to do with the delay. At any rate all mine are running fine now and I really shouldn't take any more time away from getting caught up on what I have to do!
By the way what will you take for that tractor you have?

The only time my Mahindra ever has any problems is right after I let my nephew or son-in-law use it. Usually it isn't anything significant, hooks broken off the loader, extra curves in the top of the bucket, etc. The leak at the cap on the final drive came after my nephew used it.

I've got the bucket lip and hook problem ready to be solved, hopefully for good. I've got some nice heavy 3" x 3" angle iron to reinforce the top of the bucket, and since I couldn't find any weld on hooks a friend used is metal cutting band saw and cut three clevis hooks down for me, they are nice and flat on the back side and I should get a good solid weld on them.

TD,
What dealer gave you the problems? My dealer is Top Flight and their mechanic, Keith, answers any question I can come with. He is a full time employee, yet has some health issues. His son even delivered my 6520 two years ago. Bill the owner is an awesome guy also. They get lots of problem tractors that other dealers screwup. All their experience parts help and sales help, along with their small engine mechanic left and are doing well in downtown Conroe. I even have been checking out a Bobcat 430 they have there. I have got lost following your dealer pilgrimage. Can you list the dealers that did not fix your problem the first time?
hugs, Brandi

Brandi,

Selling dealer was Knox tractor in Houston. They do not have full time technical staff. The tractor has been there multiple times, all but when the tractor was totally broken though we wouldn't take it in as the wait is too long such as the gage cluster or the weak starter. That cost us a cool 1.5 grand.

Brazos Motor Sports "fixed" the tractor but broke it worse other than the starter works. They also said they would be working on it that week if I got it down there that day. They didn't even get started on it for over two weeks.

Top Flight must have lost all of their staff a day or two before I called and had to be busy when we were trying to get the other stuff fixed while under warranty. Initially as the last visit was our first one to them. They seem good, but I am still worried about Mahindra as a whole.

We are out of town this week and the tractor is going up to see Adam tomorrow hopefully this can get worked out.

Cheers.
