Alberta Clipper

The weatherman called it an "Alberta Clipper" yesterday on the news. He wasn't kidding. It came through here around 5 pm yesterday. The wind was howling through the valley at 50 mph and it was cold. It really blew for a few hours and cooled way off. Got a little skiff of snow, cold and windy today. Keep those things up there in Alberta.

Being right next door we get them too. It's been pretty windy here as well. We get the warm Chinook winds though and it's been unseasonably warm.

Hate to tell you, but that "Alberta Clipper" certainly did NOT come from Alberta /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif It has been well above zero Celsius for a while and in fact I believe yesterday set the record for the warmest Jan 25 on record.
