Air in fuel system LS4940c Montana

Replaced fuel filter,tried to use manual pump on top of fuel filter to remove air,not working.Had to pull tractor with truck to start.Runs ok, not missing.Turn tractor off,will not start!It is like all fuel has returned to tank and replaced with air.Pulled tractor with truck to start again,ran for 30 min.to try to remove all air, ran fine,turned off will not start! Anyone know where fuel pump is located on this tractor?

To all that viewed this post,The issue was with the fuel filter. replaced the entire housing(manual pump)and tractor runs fine. 101 views and no response from any moderators or ??? Forum not as resourceful as before,we miss you tractor Barry!!!!
